Air Canada launches Calgary - San Diego Flights

Air Canada has launched daily, non-stop flights between Calgary and San Diego, CA.

Marcel Forget, Vice President, Network Planning, Air Canada, said, "We expect our new San Diego service to be popular with business travellers as well as both Canadian and American vacationers seeking the vast array of leisure opportunities offered in Alberta and in Southern California."

Air Canada flight AC8307 departs Calgary at 12:55, arriving in San Diego at 15:00.

Air Canada flight AC8308 departs San Diego at 11:55 and arrives back in Calgary at 16:05.

Flights are operated by Air Canada Jazz onboard 75-seat CRJ-705 aircraft offering a choice of Executive or Economy Class service, featuring individual seatback entertainment throughout the aircraft.

Flights are timed for convenient connections in Calgary to and from Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg and Toronto.

This new service complements the carrier's daily Vancouver-San Diego flights.

Fares on the new route begin from C$159 one way, before taxes and other fees.
