Kingfisher Airlines launches Kolkata - Bangkok Flights

India's Kingfisher Airlines has launched flights between Kolkata and Bangkok. 

After London, Colombo, Dhaka and Dubai, Bangkok is the fifth international destination on the international route network of Kingfisher Airlines.

Flights are timed with flight IT 021 departing from Kolkata, at 11:20 am and reaching Bangkok at 3:15 pm, local time. The flight departs Bangkok at 4:30 pm and reaches Kolkata at 5:45 pm.

Commenting on the launch of this new service to Thailand, Mr. Siva Ramachandran, Vice President-Global Sales, Kingfisher Airlines Limited said, “The launch of this new route marks the first time that Kingfisher Airlines is operating flights connecting India to South East Asia. Besides catering to the leisure market, the launch of this new route means that pilgrims from Thailand coming into India will be able to benefit from the excellent and convenient onward connectivity to Bodh Gaya. The response to this new service has been tremendous and we look forward to garnering a large share of the traffic on this route.”

The flights between Kolkata and Bangkok are being operated using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Bangkok is the second international destination to be served by Kingfisher Airlines from Kolkata.
