Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Ivan Lee
as Area Vice President, Singapore and Melody King as Senior Vice
President of Human Resources.
In addition to his present
role as General Manager, Pan Pacific Singapore, Ivan, in his new
appointment, will oversee the group’s six properties in Singapore:
Pan Pacific Singapore and Pan Pacific Orchard, Pan Pacific
Serviced Suites, Parkroyal Beach Road, Parkroyal Kitchener Road
and Parkroyal Serviced Suites.
With over 30 years in the
hospitality industry, Ivan has held several senior leadership
positions with a number of hotel companies, including that of Vice
President & General Manager of the Biltmore in Los Angeles with
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, and Chief Executive Officer of The

as the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Ivan is a
Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and graduate of Hotel
Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology
in Vancouver, Canada.
With over 20 years of experience in human resource management and
development, Melody, in her new position will build capability and
develop talent for Pan Pacific Hotels Group as it expands the
hotel portfolio for both distinguished Pan Pacific and Parkroyal
brands managed under the group.

Automation and Asea Brown Broveri (ABB) and her latest appointment
was in Hong Kong where she was Head of Human Resources, Asia
Pacific, for Herbalife International for the past eight years.
Melody is foremost a hotelier at heart, having commenced her
career at Shangri-La in China after graduating from Les Roches
Hotel and Tourism School in Bluche-Montana, Switzerland.
Thereafter, she held key Human Resource positions with Swissotel,
Shangri-La and Westin.
