Starwood has signed its first hotel in Bermuda. Scheduled to open in 2013, The St. Regis Bermuda and The Residences at The St. Regis Bermuda will be located in the heart of downtown Hamilton, Bermuda’s picturesque seaside capital and bustling international business hub.

The St. Regis Bermuda will feature approximately 140 guest rooms and suites, approximately 80 exclusive, serviced residences, a Remède Spa, signature restaurant, a wine bar, library, and a rooftop conservatory.

The property is owned by Par La Ville Hotel and Residences, Ltd., a partnership between Virginia-based Unified Resorts, Ltd. and New York-based Sagewood Investments, LLC.

Nestled in the center of Hamilton’s dynamic business district and just a short distance from Bermuda’s stunning beaches and azure waters, The St. Regis Bermuda will be an ideal destination for both business and leisure guests.

A leading economic and political hub, Hamilton offers guests and residences an appealing mix of specialty shopping, restaurants, cultural centers and landmark corporations.

St. Regis guests will have exclusive access to the nearby St. Regis Beach Club, where they can enjoy the beach, memorable ocean views, lush landscapes and luxury amenities including a salt-water infinity-edge pool, private serviced cabanas, indoor recreation room and signature spa services.

“We are proud to work with Starwood hotels to introduce the prestigious St. Regis brand to Bermuda,” said Premier Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, Minister of Tourism and Transport. “In beautiful Hamilton, St. Regis Bermuda will be well positioned to provide first class hospitality and amenities in a thriving commercial center and visitor hotspot.”

The Residences at The St. Regis Bermuda will include approximately 80 Residences within the hotel. The Residences will feature a separate, private lobby entrance and elevators, a dedicated concierge staff and service levels never before offered in Bermuda, as well as full access to the hotel’s amenities and facilities.

Residents and guests alike will be invited to indulge in personalized spa treatments at the hotel’s signature Remède Spa and a diverse menu of culinary delights at the hotel’s world-class restaurants.

An ideal choice for weddings, meetings and special events, The St. Regis Bermuda will offer approximately 12,000 square feet of event space including a 4,000 square foot ballroom and a grand outdoor courtyard.
