Clare West has been appointed Holistic Operations Advisor for Six Senses Rue de Castiglione Paris, from her previous role as Managing Director Europe, Middle East and Africa for Six Senses Spas.

In her new role, Clare is responsible for the launch of the first Six Senses urban sanctuary in France, focusing on establishing holistic activities to support the groups SLOW LIFE philosophy, which is an acronym for Sustainable-Local-Organic-Wholesome Learning-Inspiring-Fun-Experiences. She will also offer various holistic activities as a specialist practitioner.

Prior to joining Six Senses Spas in 2006, Clare worked for several years as a freelance wellbeing specialist and spa consultant, with clients including TUI, Unique Spa and Marriott A&C. Her passion for well-being and healing led her from a career in the performing arts into the healing arts and spa industry - joining forces with veteran Spa consultants Wheway Lifestyle, during which time she assisted with the develop of their Alanya Spa concept.

Clare brings a wealth of diverse, hands-on experience to her role, having authored regular articles on health and wellbeing, published her book “The Energy Source”, lectured on subtle energy and healing, and run her own therapeutic massage practice. She originally trained as a classical dancer and worked as a freelance choreographer and opera director throughout Europe and the US, including directing works for Opera de Paris, Bastille and a five year residency as director and choreographer of the English National Opera, London.

Clare holds a Masters Degree from Leeds University and Bachelors Degree in Humanities from London University.
