An impressive line-up of hotel leaders will participate in The Hotel Leaders Forum at the Hotel Investment Forum India (HIFI), scheduled for January 12-14, 2010, at the Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. HIFI is co-hosted by Burba Hotel Network (BHN) and Horwath HTL, India.

Participating on The Hotel Leaders Forum panel will be Raymond N. Bickson, Managing Director & CEO, Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces; Eric Danziger, President & CEO, Wyndham Hotel Group; Ed Fuller, President & Managing Director, Marriott International, Inc.; Hubert Joly, President & CEO, Carlson and Carlson Hotels Worldwide; and Chris Nassetta, President & Chief Executive Officer, Hilton Worldwide. The session will be moderated by the well known Resident Editor and Senior Anchor of NDTV, Manvi Dhillon.

“We are excited to have such a distinguished panel of hotel leaders agree to speak at HIFI, which clearly demonstrates the importance of India to these worldwide hotel companies,” said Jim Burba, President of BHN. “Their perspectives on the state of the global lodging industry, and their views about the hotel opportunities in India will be of great benefit to our HIFI delegates.”

HIFI will focus on hotel and tourism investment opportunities in India, which has seen a rapid expansion of its hotel and tourism industry over the past decade. With the current economic slowdown coming to an end, investment interest in the Indian hotel sector is expected to resume strong growth over the next several years.
