The mid-market hotel brand, Park Inn, recently made its debut in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a new property in Al Khobar and another scheduled to open in Riyadh.

Rezidor now has nine hotels and over 2,000 rooms already in operation and under development in Saudi Arabia.

Al Khobar is one of the largest cities in eastern Saudi Arabia and is the centre of the area’s import-export activity.

The Park Inn Al Khobar is located close to the main causeway linking three of the region’s biggest commercial hubs, Dammam, Jubail and Hofuf.

Dammam International Airport is just a 45-minute drive and Bahrain International Airport is an hour away.

The Park Inn Al Khobar is a bright, contemporary hotel offering 148 colourful guestrooms. There are also 14 suites and various connecting rooms for families.

The hotel restaurant serves a tempting menu of international dishes, while the lobby lounge and the Patio Cafe with its beautiful terrace is an ideal place for a refreshing drink and discussion.

The hotel also plans to offer a well-equipped fitness centre with a café.

Ideal for anything from large corporate events to small business meetings, the hotel houses eight conference rooms ranging from 40 m² to 55 m² in size. In addition, a multi-purpose hall spans an impressive 340 m² and comes with the latest audiovisual equipment.

Originally a small fishing village, Al Khobar is now an important industrial port heavily involved in the production and refining of oil, the country’s primary source of income, and is home to the world’s largest oil company, Saudi Aramco.

Traditionally, Al Khobar has also been a city of shopkeepers and merchants, and today it boasts numerous modern malls and boulevards with internationally recognised franchise shops and eating places. The waterfront has been extended into a picturesque corniche, dotted with parks, restaurants and family beaches. The 26-km King Fahd Causeway connects Al Khobar to the island nation of Bahrain, previously reachable only by air or sea. With its gardens, picnic spots and kilometres of beaches, Al Khobar has become a popular holiday centre in recent years.
