Free Room Upgrades at Carlson Hotels in China

Carlson Hotels has strengthened its partnership with Air China by offering the airline’s Phoenix Miles members a club floor room upgrade when staying at any of the group’s managed properties in China.

This offer is valid for applicable room rates eligible for mileage accrual at Regent Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotels & Resorts and Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts – the Carlson hotel brands currently operating in China.

Carlson currently has eight hotels in operation in key gateway cities throughout China, with plans to open another nine properties by 2012, including the Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin which opens this month.`

Air China has flights to 70 domestic cities in China, and Phoenix Miles members can receive a club floor room upgrade by presenting their membership card at check in, at any Carlson managed property in China. This promotion is valid from 16 April to 15 June 2009.

Frank Trampert, executive vice president, Revenue Generation – Asia Pacific, Carlson Hotels Worldwide said, “The complimentary upgrade to a club floor room grants Phoenix Miles members an added incentive to stay at Carlson managed properties, as more and more leisure and corporate travellers seek value added hotel offers.”

Carlson Hotels Worldwide currently has partnerships with more than 20 airlines internationally for airline mileage points.
