Dennis Wright joins Pan Pacific as Vice President, Operations

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Dennis Wright as Vice President, Operations.

In his new role, Dennis will have direct oversight of hotels managed by the Group in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, China and Singapore. He will also spearhead operational systems development, rebranding and opening activities of hotels in these countries as well as new management agreements.

Dennis commenced his career in the mid-1980s with Sheraton in New Zealand, specialising in rooms operations and marketing and was an early hospitality pioneer in China. He has also served in the general management function with Starwood Sheraton and Swissotel in Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Australia and China.

In his last appointment as Vice President, Operations with Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company, Dennis’ key responsibilities involved the development and management of business strategies for its hotels in support of corporate objectives, as well as all aspects of hotel development, systems and standards supporting the company’s growth, brand and guest satisfaction objectives. Dennis also mentored general managers and was responsible for hotel profit performance and owner relations.
