Singapore-based GHM has appointed Patrick Moukarzel as General Manager of The Chedi Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Patrick joined GHM in January 2006 as Food and Beverage Manager at The Chedi Muscat before being promoted to Hotel Manager for The Yamu Phuket in March 2008.

Prior to joining GHM, Patrick gained a wealth of experience over 10 years in 5-star hotels across Europe and the Middle East.

The Chedi Chiang Mai, one of the most stylish resorts in Thailandís northern city of Chiang Mai, was designed by a team of prestigious designers from Kerry Hill Architects, Design Studio Spin and Tierra Design.

Located on the banks of the Mae Ping River, the resort is set in idyllic tranquil grounds whilst still being just walking distance from the city centre.

Each of the resortís 84 exquisite rooms and suites boast private courtyards, open balconies and breathtaking views.

The stylish resort is built around the historic former British consulate building, which has been converted to a restaurant, which evokes the nostalgic appeal of a bygone colonial era.
