HICAP Update Conferences to Take Place in Singapore and Tokyo this Month

In two weeks leading experts in the hotel investment industry will gather at the HICAP Update conferences in Japan and Singapore to discuss the outlook for the hotel investment industry during these difficult economic times.

HICAP Update Southeast Asia will be taking place on May 20-21, 2009 at the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore. HICAP Update Japan will take place May 26, 2009 at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo.

Both event programs will include cutting edge conversations about the state of the hotel investment industry, the economy and how deals are getting done. Also each conference will feature top-level hotel leaders who will discuss where the industry in heading.

Industry experts in the Hotel Leaders panel at HICAP Update Southeast Asia will include: Moderator Juliana L. Liu, Reporter BBC News; and Panelists Paul Foskey, Executive Vice-President, Hotel Development, Marriott International, Inc.; A. Patrick Imbardelli, President & Chief Executive, Pan Pacific Hotels Group; Michael Issenberg, Chairman & COO, Accor Asia Pacific and Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman, Banyan Tree Holdings Limited.

At HICAP Update Japan the Hotel Leaders panel will feature: Moderator Kavin Bloomer, SVP & COO, Asia Pacific, Panorama Hospitality; and Panelists Hirohide Abe, Vice President, Hyatt (Japan) Co., Ltd.; Chris Moloney, Chief Executive Officer, IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan; Tom Monahan, Executive VP International Development, Wynham Hotel Group International; Yutaka Nakamura, Chairman of the Board, Royal Park Hotel Co., Ltd. & President, Japan Hotel Association; Antonino Virili, President & CEO, Solare Hotels and Resorts Co., Ltd.
