Capella to Open Luxury Riverfront Hotel in Bangkok

West Paces Hotel Group Asia, developer of the Capella Hotels and Resorts brand, and Bangkok-based Country Group Company, Ltd., are to open a new property along the banks of the famous Chao Phraya River, in Bangkok. The new hotel, to be known as Capella Bangkok, is scheduled for completion in 4th quarter, 2013.

Capella Bangkok will be part of a new mixed-use development along the river that features two hotels and a residential tower. The Capella hotel tower consists of 100 rooms and a series of riverfront villas, all offering views of the Chao Phraya River.

All guestrooms and suites in the hotel tower will have sky gardens and spacious outdoor salas.

Capella Bangkok will also include two gourmet restaurants, an exquisite bar, a 900sqm Auriga spa, a ballroom opening out to magnificent views of the river and an inviting outdoor pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.

In addition, the development will feature 350 well-appointed Capella Residences housed in a 64-storey tower.

A Residence Club will also be available to all residents and it will include a Library, Club Lounge, and spacious meeting and function rooms.

Hamiltons International will serve as the design architect for Capella Bangkok, while project management will be led by Page Kirkland (Thailand).
