Virgin Blue launches Corporate Travel Program

Virgin Blue has launched a new program which rewards small businesses for travelling with Virgin Blue when they spend over $20,000 per annum on eligible domestic travel.

With Virgin Blue’s Accelerate program small business can benefit from:

- An air travel credit of up to $16,500 per year to spend on Virgin Blue flights which could purchase up to 152 one way Blue Saver flights from Sydney to Melbourne.

- Discounted annual membership to Virgin Blue’s The Lounge.

In addition, travellers can earn Velocity Points and Status Credits on their flights.

Virgin Blue General Manager Sales, Mathias Friess, launched the Virgin Blue Accelerate Program during his keynote address at the 2009 Virgin Blue National Small Business Summit on Wednesay morning.

“In line with our ongoing New World Carrier strategy at Virgin Blue we continue to be innovative in all we do, to champion value-for-money and to offer our business customers the best possible products and services we can.

“We understand today’s dynamic and competitive business environment. Virgin Blue’s Accelerate program has been developed specifically with small to medium businesses in mind to deliver real and quantifiable savings on annual travel budgets as well as rewarding Australian companies for choosing to travel with Virgin Blue,” Mathias Friess said.
