Oaks Hotels & Resorts is preparing to open a premium corporate and leisure apartment hotel in Broome, Western Australia.

Set in picturesque Roebuck Bay, Oaks Broome combines apartment style holiday and corporate accommodation, in the thriving pearling and tourist town, 2200 km north of Perth.

Oaks Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Officer Brett Pointon said the company was delighted to be spreading its wings to Western Australia for the first time.

“Oaks Broome satisfies a need for high-end yet affordable accommodation in one of Australia’s most captivating visitor destinations,’’ Mr Pointon said.

“Strategically, we view Oaks Broome as natural fit for the group which is committed to offering a diverse geographic spread from coastal resort areas to city centres, with a rates-for-the-real-world policy.’’

Welcoming its first guests from July 2009, Oaks Broome offers contemporary, well appointed hotel rooms and apartments with balconies, large decks and some with pool views.

Surrounded by extensively landscaped gardens, the property features two swimming pools, tour booking desk, onsite 1861 Restaurant Café and Bar, free off-street car parking and guest laundry.

Guest accommodation includes a mixture of one and two bedroom fully self contained apartments and hotel rooms with stylish modern décor, air conditioning, broadband internet, cable TV and free movies.
