Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Wednesday, 11 February 2009

Hilton has launched a global promotion offering Hilton HHonors members the ability to earn twice the number of Base points for stays at more than 2,400 participating Hilton Family hotels around the world.

To earn double Base points as part of this promotion, HHonors members need to register for the promotion at the HHonors website and then book and stay at any participating Hilton Family hotel before April 6, 2009.

Deborah Merrens, Senior Director, Loyalty Marketing, Asia Pacific, said,  “Whether members are looking for an overnight stay close to home or planning to explore somewhere new, we look forward to helping them earn their way to rewards twice as fast.”

Hilton HHonors is now in its 22nd year and allows guests to earn Points & Miles for the same stay and redeem their points for free stays on any night they choose thanks to Hilton Honors’ ‘No Blackout Dates’ policy.

Members can also ‘Double Dip’ meaning that they can earn both HHonors points and airline miles, with any one of more than 60 airlines, each time they stay at a Hilton Family hotel.

For those travelers not as concerned with earning miles, HHonors also offers members the ‘Points & Points’ earning style, which helps members earn points that can be used towards free room nights more quickly.

No matter which earnings style HHonors members choose, during this new promotion, HHonors members staying at participating hotels will be able to earn double the number of Base points for every eligible dollar spent. Terms and conditions apply.
