Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Friday, 10 July 2009

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has launched a promotion that helps visiting friends and relatives the chance to experience Hong Kong to the max.

By adding as little as HK$30 to the cost of the regular Big Bus Hong Kong tours between July 16 and January 1, 2010, guests can enjoy the added fun of the Peak Tram, the Star Ferry and of course, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and Shanghai, Bret Pidgeon said, "Many of us are inundated with visitors over summer. This is a great way for the whole family to experience the many faces of Hong Kong, and all the excitement it has to offer, at a really good price. I think even the locals accompanying their guests will be surprised by what's new."

The Day package offers a comprehensive tour of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island on Big Bus, with a free return ticket on the Peak Tram and free upper deck return ticket on the Star Ferry, with admission to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

The Night package includes admission to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong as well as a one-hour panoramic night tour of Kowloon that will reveal the city of Hong Kong to visitors in spectacular style.

The Combo Tour offers an extended version of both packages.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has unveiled a host of new famous faces since last summer, including Lang Lang, Johnny Depp, Barack Obama and Chiling Lin. Last May, it also introduced for the first time in Asia its SCREAM attraction.

Big Bus Super Value Packages are available at:

• Central Star Ferry Pier 7, 1/F, Shop P
• The Peak Tram Lower Terminus
• The Peak Tower Level 1
• Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade
Next to outdoor Starbucks Coffee Shop
