Robert Rippon joins Sofitel Shanghai Jin Jiang Oriental Pudong as GM

Mr. Robert Rippon has been appointed as General Manager of the Sofitel Shanghai Jin Jiang Oriental Pudong.

Prior to working with the Accor group, Mr. Rippon was the Assistant Manager at The Rose and Crown Hotel in Australia. After joining Accor as Resident Manager of the Novotel Beachcomber Surfers Paradise in 1991, Mr. Rippon was appointed General Manager at Novotel Manado in Indonesia.

No stranger to China, Mr. Rippon has previously managed the Sofitel Zhengzhou and Novotel Atlantis Shanghai and was most recently the General Manager at the Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16.
