Jet Airways has agreed to pay 3% commission on gross fare (defined as basic fare plus fuel surcharge) domestic and international tickets sold in India. The commission scheme, which is effective immediately, replaces the transaction fee model recently introduced.

With an average fleet age of 4.38 years, the airline has one of the youngest aircraft fleet in the world.

Jet Airways, with the acquisition of JetLite, has a combined fleet strength of 109 aircraft.
