Four Points by Sheraton has opened its first Four Points by Sheraton hotel in North China. The Four Points by Sheraton Beijing, Haidian Hotel & Serviced Apartments, follows the successes of other Four Points hotels in cities like Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Changshu, Lhasa and Taipei.

The Four Points in Beijing is located in the heart of Beijing’s technology district – Haidian District – a 5-10 minutes drive away from major government and business organizations, research centers, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, and major universities. The Summer Palace, The Great Wall of China, the Olympic Stadium - the Bird’s Nest - and other popular sightseeing attractions are all within easy access. One of Asia Pacific’s largest shopping malls - Golden Resources - is within walking distance with more than 1,000 shops, restaurants and movie theater.

“The opening of Four Points by Sheraton Beijing extends the brand’s presence in Greater China and provides comfortable lodging at a great value for both business travelers and leisure customers,” said Madam Zhang Lei, General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Beijing, Haidian Hotel & Serviced Apartments. “Four Points by Sheraton gives travelers just what they want and need – comfortable accommodations, free Internet access in the public areas and the space they need to work or relax.”

Four Points by Sheraton Beijing, Haidian Hotel & Serviced Apartments features 355 guestrooms and 177 serviced apartments, each offering a Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort Bed, LCD flat-screen TV, and high speed Internet access. Executive rooms and suites provide an enhanced level of service, comfort and convenience for busy travelers.

The hotel is equipped with 1054 square meters of meeting and banquet space for groups up to 850 people, including a 720-seat pillar-less natural light Grand Ballroom and 7 other function rooms all equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as simultaneous interpretation equipments, large plasma display equipment and LCD projectors.

Other facilities include three restaurants with different offerings. The Eatery offers buffet and ŕ la carte, local and imported best beers. Authentic Italian specialties and a full range of beverages, world class wines are available at Ecco. Yong Yi serves renowned Cantonese and regional specialties as well as dim sum items.

Through the brand’s Simple Pleasures program, items such as hot coffee and freshly baked egg tart are served in the lobby Lounge throughout the day. It is also a perfect place to mingle in a lazy afternoon with live entertainment.

The hotel also has great recreation facilities to recharge the body and have fun, from indoor heated swimming pool, invigorating fitness center and a full-service spa.
