Six Senses has opened a Moroccan-styled Spa at the MGM Grand Macau. Offering the very best in luxury combined with cutting edge holistic wellness facilities and therapies, the Six Senses Spa is set on a prime waterfront location on the Macau peninsula.

The uniquely designed spa includes 12 treatment areas complete with state-of-the-art facilities such as a large floatation pool with color therapy technology. The pool contains a salt level of 27% to produce similar effects to that of the Dead Sea, allowing guests to float on top of the water as they listen to the relaxing underwater music. The vitality pool with air loungers provides rejuvenation with commanding ocean views, and innovative snow cabins provide the ultimate cooling experience!

The spa design integrates a theme by following five elements – fire, water, earth, wood and metal – with each leading guests through their own unique sensory spa journeys.

Signature Asian rituals and traditional Chinese treatments combine with comprehensive fitness, beauty and pampering therapies in the hands of an international team of expertly trained practitioners.

To ensure a complete spa experience, specialist treatments offered include Tuina – traditional Chinese acupressure, Shiatsu, Balinese and Thai inspired therapies, whilst a Spa Express menu provides additional holistic sessions from just twenty-five minutes to revitalise and relieve stress. There are various relaxation areas where guests can reinvigorate with foot bath massages and heated ceramic recliners whilst enjoying calming sea views.

To complete the spa and beauty programme there is a fully equipped gymnasium offering personal training sessions along with yoga and Tai Chi, and a sensory shower that allows guests to walk through a variety of cool and warm environments ranging from tropical rain, to cooling mist, to Scottish rain. Guests can also visit the Spa Boutique which offers a range of spa and wellness related products, extending the spa experience long after departure.

The Six Senses Spa VIP Suites offer guests an extensive range of facilities to enjoy signature spa rituals whilst providing exclusivity with their own dedicated private entrance, reception, Spa Boutique, relaxation areas and signature facilities. The three Suites plus Master Suite offer the ultimate spa rituals to reinvigorate the mind and body, and provides access to a private vitality pool, steam bath, multiple cooling shower experience and a colour-therapy area with infused herbal fragrances to ensure the senses are balanced.
