Hilton has opened the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing. The hotel which is owned by the Beijing Macau Development Company and managed by Hilton, has 255 guest rooms, including 58 suites. Located in the heart of Wangfujing, Beijings prominent commercial and social district, the hotel is designed to be a chic, intimate, lifestyle sanctuary designed by internationally acclaimed and award winning Singaporean based architectural firm Wilson & Associates.

Hilton Beijing Wangfujings interiors were inspired by the classical Rococo-style era and the traditional architecture of the nearby Forbidden City. The lobby and reception areas communicate the intimate lifestyle theme incorporating cozy fireplaces that provide a warm and inviting backdrop to the hotel.

The hotel will feature four dramatically styled restaurants and lounges. The restaurants include Vascos, one of the few Macanese restaurants in Beijing. Another of the restaurants is Chynna, offering regional Chinese classics combined with modern cooking techniques and will have a resident Tea Master, who will introduce diners to the history and natural wonders of tea. Also on hand will be a resident nutritionist, who will offer advice on menu options to meet the nutritional and lifestyle needs of diners.

By simply plugging-in their own laptop - the television screen can be split so guests can watch TV while checking e-mail or researching on the Internet, watch their own movies or even plug-in their digital cameras and preview photos.

The bright and airy deluxe suites are sized from 92 square metres and offer a whole new way to recharge. The Executive Level rooms feature generously scaled executive desks, ergonomic desk chairs, two-line phones with voicemail, data ports and a separate line for a combination fax/printer/copier for ease of communication. This glamorous home away from home offers the ultimate spacious retreat for work and play and is conveniently divided into four comfort zones including a spacious bedroom and relaxation area,, a tastefully designed living room, a kitchen area for entertaining friends or business partners and a study nook that is strategically positioned between the living room and the dining room so guests can easily transition between work and play. The hotel even provides guests with their own aquatic in-room companions a goldfish.
