Sheraton Fiji Resort Reopens Following US$22 Million Refurbishment

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has reopened the Sheraton Fiji Resort following the completion of an extensive US$22 million renovation.

The six-month refurbishment project resulted in significant upgrades to guest accommodations, restaurants and bars, as well as the introduction of new recreational facilities. The centrepiece of the resort is the nearly 13,000 square-foot, lagoon style swimming pool developed by Scape Design Associates. This spectacular new pool features a number of underwater day seats and overwater hammocks and is divided into three sections, including a dedicated family-friendly area and quiet zone.

Designed by Joseph Pang Design Consultants, the revitalized guest accommodations reflect the essence of Pacific style while emphasizing guest comfort. Each room features the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, high-speed Internet and innovative lighting. Rooms open onto a private balconies or patios, creating a seamless transition to the tropical paradise right outside.

The hotels renovated lobby space features the Link@Sheraton, a comfortable setting to catch up on emails using complimentary Internet access, enjoy a board game, watch TV or relax with a good book.

The resort has also launched some new dining concepts including Feast, a vibrant new buffet restaurant featuring culinary delights from around the world, Flying Fish seafood restaurant and Pantry a grab and go style deli. Fine-dining restaurant, Ports OCall has also received a fresh, new look, while Chime, the resorts new lounge bar, is a perfect place to relax with a tropical cocktail.

Situated on picturesque Denarau Island, Sheraton Fiji Resort is an idyllic, tropical playground where guests can experience an array of dining and leisure activities. Located 20 minutes from Nadi International Airport and five minutes from Port Denarau Marina, the resort provides great access to families and vacationers to enjoy everything Fiji has to offer. Younger guests can join the Kids Club for an action-packed day of games and exciting activities as part of the new Kids Stay, Play and Dine Free program.
