Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai joins WORLDHOTELS

The new Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai has joined WORLHOTELS' Deluxe Collection. The Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai opened in July 2008 as the flagship property for the recently established five star hotel group, Plaza Royale Hotels and Spas which already has further hotels under development in Hangzhou, Changsha, Changzhou, Ningbo, Chongqing and Xiamen.

Conveniently located along Pudong Avenue and with views of the Huang Pu River, the hotel is only minutes away from Shanghai’s financial district, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre as well as many of Shanghai’s tourist attractions. With easy access to both the domestic and International airports, the Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai is the perfect destination for business and leisure travelers.

The hotel’s 523 guest rooms are among the largest in the Pudong area and feature the best in modern technology including free wireless internet access, stylish decoration and luxurious furnishings.

Dining options include Shang Rong Fu, which offers contemporary Chinese cuisine, J Japanese Restaurant which serves a selection of authentic teppanyaki and fusion Japanese dishes, and Café Royale, a relaxed open kitchen environment showcasing a wide range of international and Asian specialties. The Lobby Lounge is a semi-casual quarter of the main lobby area which serves daily ‘Royale Tea’ and Truffles. It also presents homemade products for guests to take away.
