Jacinta Teo joins Delivering Asia as Vice President - Business Development

Delivering Asia has appointed Ms. Jacinta Teo as Vice President - Business Development.

Based in the groups head office in Hong Kong, Ms Teo's role entails new client development together with formulation of sales, marketing and distribution strategies. Ms Teo will also be overseeing the group's two other divisions, "Hospitality Sales and Marketing Outsourcing/Solutions" and "Hospitality Sales & Marketing Executive Resources".

Ms Teo has over 16 years of hospitality industry experience in senior sales and marketing positions in Asia. Having worked in Singapore, Thailand, Dubai and Vietnam, Ms Teos international outlook and knowledge of diverse cultures will be an asset in her role.

Ms Teo began her career in the hospitality industry in Singapore where she rose to the position of Assistant Vice President Sales for Berjaya Hotels & Resorts Singapore Sales organization. In 2003, Jacinta joined the Ascott Group, based in Singapore where she was a senior member of the corporate sales team before moving to Bangkok, Thailand in early 2006 as Director of Sales, Indochina. In this role she was overseeing the sales & marketing operations of 10 key properties in Bangkok, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Jacinta was involved in key pre-opening assignments in Dubai, Bangkok and Vietnam with The Ascott Group. Her last position held was Director of Sales & Marketing, Indochina for Ascott International Management (Thailand) Limited.

Delivering Asia managing director Joe Cauchi said, "It is rare an individual of Jacinta's caliber who steps outside the traditional corporate role and wants to put her years of experience into developing an organization such as Delivering Asia.
