Gold and Platinum members will continue to earn one additional bonus point based on their elite status bringing their earning to an attractive nine Starpoints for every U.S. dollar spent.

After racking up their Starpoints, SPG members can redeem their points for free nights with no blackout dates at more than 860 hotels and resorts worldwide. Starpoints can also be transferred to miles on more than 30 airlines and to bid for once-in-a-lifetime experiences through the SPG Moments program.

aloft rooms feature nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows to create a bright, airy environment. The centerpiece of the aloft room is the comfortable signature bed, and large stylish bathrooms complement the guest experience with oversized walk-in showers and amenities created by bliss spa. Each aloft room is also a combination high-tech office and entertainment center, featuring complimentary wired and wireless internet access and a one-stop connectivity solution for plugging in multiple electronic gadgetry such as PDAs, cell phones, mp3 players and laptops – which are linked to a 42” flat panel LCD television for optimal sound and viewing.

More than 18 aloft hotels are scheduled to open between June 2008 and December 2008, providing SPG members many opportunities to take advantage of this special offer.
