The Regent Residences Kuala Lumpur, a brand new luxury residential development in Malaysia’s capital city offering dramatic skyrise views and interiors by Sir Terence Conran, is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The property is located directly across from the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, along Jalan Ampang, leading to the KLCC Park.

Built above the 8-storey Avenue K designer mall, the chic 38-storey tower will be home to a 236-room hotel – The Regent Kuala Lumpur. The Regent Residences Kuala Lumpur will comprise 12 floors or, 115 units of serviced apartments with 2 facility floors at the top of this hotel.

As well as being in close proximity to golf clubs and shopping malls such as Avenue K and Suria KLCC it will have direct access to the underground Light Rail Transit (LRT) that leads to KL Sentral, an integrated transit hub that connects to Kuala Lumpur International Airport through Express Rail Link in under 30 minutes.

Amongst the unit inventory will be a number of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, plus 2 levels of sprawling penthouse units. The apartments will vary in size from 548 square feet up to 2,506 square feet while the penthouses will range from 2,634 to 3,719 square feet.

The interiors of all 115 serviced residences will be exclusively designed by Sir Terence Conran, one of the world’s best known designers, restaurateurs and retailers, who was awarded The Prince Philip Designer of the Year award in 2004 for his services to design.

The interior palette will be refreshing, clear and understated with clean lines and elegant simplicity that are the hallmark of Conran’s design. Bringing the sensational views into the design, the apartments will be light, bright and airy with floor to ceiling glass windows allowing expansive city views.

All apartments will be equipped with high quality furnishes and fixtures including a Bulthaup kitchen system, Miele appliances, timber strips, imported sanitary ware and imported marble flooring.

One of the property’s many alluring points will be a stunning Sky Pool on Level 38p of the property that has been specially crafted for residents’ use only and runs the perimeter of the building, offering breathtaking city views in every direction.

The facilities floors will also provide expansive teak decks for alfresco entertaining and weekend relaxing, whilst a 24-hour concierge and fleet of limousines will ensure the most luxurious travel in and around town for owners.

Residents will also be able to enjoy the daily benefits of valet parking and 24-hour security.

The new Regent Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be managed by Carlson Hotels Worldwide – Asia Pacific, one of the world’s largest privately-owned hotel companies, which is continuing the expansion of its luxury Regent brand into key gateway cities across the region. The hotel operator will be maintaining the common properties of both the hotel and the serviced apartments.

The Regent Residences Kuala Lumpur will be priced from US$ 400,000.
