Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa in Cebu launches Water Adventure Promotion

Until December 15, 2008, aqua enthusiasts can take advantage of the Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu Water Adventure promotion. The package offers guests a choice of water activities, including 30-minute daily jet ski use, a 10-minute banana boat ride, a 10-minute parasailing ride and a 30-minute introduction to scuba diving. Rates start from PHP15,000++ for a Superior Garden view room, with daily buffet breakfast for two adults at Tides or Acqua and round-trip airport transfers.

For the less adventurous, the Water Adventure Package offers guests a 30-minute sub-sea boat for viewing the corals and abundant marine life showcased in the marine sanctuary that lies below blue waters.

The Water Adventure Package has a minimum stay requirement of two nights and an extra guest staying in the same room costs PHP5,000 per night (with breakfast). A surcharge applies during peak periods.

Nestled amidst 13 hectares of lush greenery, landscaped gardens and a 350-meter exclusive white-sand beach, Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu is one of the Philippines’ premier deluxe resorts. 

Since its opening, the Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary has seen different species of fish “migrate” to the area. Among the species spotted are angelfish, banner fish, blue tang, butterfly fish, clownfish, clown sweetlips, goldfish, lionfish, pipefish, puffers, rainbow fish, wrasse and many more.
