Conrad Dublin appoints New General Manager

Martin Mangan has joined Conrad Hotels & Resorts as General Manager of the Conrad Dublin. 

Martin will manage all operational efforts of the hotel with a focus on further enhancing the Conrad Dublin’s position as one of the city’s most prestigious luxury hotels. Martin replaces the former highly regarded General Manager, Laurens Zieren, who recently transferred to the Hilton New York.

With a career spanning 19 years in the hospitality sector, Martin has spent the past nine years working in Ireland. Prior to taking up his new role at the Conrad Dublin, Martin was General Manager at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, where he oversaw the hotel’s re-opening. He has also held senior management positions at The Grand Canal Hotel in Dublin and Jury’s Doyle Hotels in Dublin and London. Martin has also previously worked for Hilton Hotels Corporation in California (from 1995 to 1999), where he held the position of Director of Front Office Operations at the Oakland Airport Hilton and Hilton Los Angeles Airport.

Under his guidance, we are confident that the hotel will continue to cement its position as one of Dublin’s top luxury hotels.”

In the Irish market, Conrad Hotels & Resorts manages Mount Juliet Conrad, an award-winning Georgian Estate located near Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
