Air Tahiti Nui is to increase fuel and insurance surcharges, effective from 5 May 2008, for travel originating in Australia to destinations including French Polynesia, the USA, Europe and Japan.

New one-way fuel surcharges from Australia to Papeete are A$95, A$105 to Tokyo and Osaka, A$130 to Los Angeles and New York, and A$161 to Paris.

An insurance surcharge of A$5 one-way will be charged from Australia.
