Continental Airlines is to cater for the increasingly popular Japanese ski season by introducing much-needed additional services to Sapporo.

Australians who want to experience Japan’s famous ski fields will now be able to do so with Continental’s new flights to Sapporo from Guam, which will operate daily between 28 December and 20 January 2009.

Continental’s twice-weekly flights from Cairns to Guam will connect with the Sapporo flights, with roundtrip prices from Australia starting from just A$1208 ex Cairns (including taxes A$383), or from A$1560 (including taxes of A$405) ex Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The above fare levels are gross - travel agents seeking nett fare levels should contact their preferred consolidator or Continental Airlines. Tax levels and conditions may be subject to change.

Continental’s two weekly flights from Cairns to Guam depart every Monday and Friday morning.

The Cairns – Guam flights are operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, configured to seat 155 passengers in a two class cabin – 14 in Business Class and 141 in Economy Class.
