Torsten Richter appointed General Manager of Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort

Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort has appointed Torsten Richter as General Manager. In his new role, Mr. Richter will assume the responsibility of managing the 243 rooms resort located on the 13 km white sandy Bangsak beach in Khao Lak, southern Thailand.

Originally from Germany, Torsten holds a German Hospitality degree and a Food & Beverage Management degree from Cornell University, New York. Torsten has eighteen years experience in the hotel industry and held several key positions in Food and Beverage in Asia and Europe.

Prior to this latest appointment, Torsten held the position of Hotel Manager at Sheraton Grande Laguna Resort, a Luxury Collection brand resort in Phuket.

Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach and Spa Resort is situated within a serene and pure environment between natural rainforests and the Andaman Sea in Phang Nga, southern Thailand. 83km north of Phuket International Airport, this contemporary resort offers a sybaritic escape and indulgence in a stunning location. The resort is family friendly, yet there is a secluded haven for couples to relax and refresh. It offers luxurious guestrooms, suites and villas with private pool and jacuzzi.
