Paul Jones, a seasoned hotelier of over twenty two years,
has been appointed General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. Prior to his
appointment in Singapore, Mr Jones spent two and a half years as the Hotel Manager of The Oriental, Bangkok, responsible for its
day-to-day operations.
Mr Jones, a British national, previously spent six years in India with The Oberoi Group prior to joining
the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. He
was the General Manager of The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur as well as The Oberoi
Vanyavilas, Ranthambhore.
Sitting in the central business district directly across the picturesque Marina Bay,
the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore offers magnificent views of
city skyline, harbour and a sweep of ocean. The hotel is in close proximity to the world renowned Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, and Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre; as well as some
world-class shopping malls.
