Costa Cruises launches Loyalty Program in Asia Pacific

Costa Cruises has launched a loyalty program, CostaClub, in Asia Pacific. The new program provides special offers and exclusive benefits for Costa Cruises' passengers.

CostaClub is free to join, with passengers eligible to join once they have taken a Costa Cruise. Passengers who have been sailing with Costa Cruises from May 21, 2001 can retrieve all points after registration to become a CostaClub member.

Costa Cruises’ Vice President of Asia Pacific Operations, Massimo Brancaleoni said, "With the expansion of our cruise business in Asia, we are seeing more and more repeat business from customers in the Asia Pacific region.

"Our guests love these ships, and we’re pleased to give them more benefits to explore the world with Costa. We are confident that our customers will find the loyalty program more rewarding and make every trip an exceptional experience."

Members can easily earn 100 points with Costa Cruises on every cruise day and also an extra 40 points every time they spend US$60 on board. In order to provide additional rewards to frequent cruisers, CostaClub has three different membership levels – Aquamarine, Coral and Pearl.

Basic Aquamarine membership will be granted when registered, while members who accumulate 2,001 points or more will be upgraded to Coral membership entitling them to extra benefits. Pearl membership will be offered once guests have accumulated 5,000+ points, enjoying a range of extra advantages such as a gift at the end of the cruise and privileged disembarkation.

As a member of CostaClub guests can enjoy numerous benefits both ashore, onboard or even prior to departure, including:

• 5% discount on any departure, all year round
• Possibility of extending the discount to cabin partners
• Cocktails with the Captain and souvenir photo
• Chocolate in the cabin on gala event nights
• Complimentary wedding and anniversary cake
• Fruit basket
• 10% off Costa merchandise
• 20% to 25% discounts on internet points, wine packages, laundry service and selected beauty treatments during layovers in ports
• Dedicated enquiry hotline
• Biannual e-magazine featuring exclusive previews and special offers for all Costa Cruises
• Bottle of Spumante (Coral and Pearl members only)
• 10 Euros worth of chips for the Casino and an end-of-cruise gift (Pearl members only)
