The Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is celebrating the overhaul of its in-room amenities with two special new deals.

In the Caravelle Signature Deal, guests gain unlimited access to the Internet, use of a private conference room for up to one-hour per day and privileges within the Signature Lounge all day long. Those privileges begin with a private breakfast and include beverages throughout the day and cocktails and canapes in the evening.

In the Caravelle’s Deluxe Deal, guests get a fresh fruit basket and English-language newspaper daily, as well as complimentary water. The Deluxe Deal costs $198 while the Signature Deal starts at $245. These promotions conclude at the end of August.

“The technology makes this a really attractive proposition,” said Sheena Shee, Director of Sales & Marketing of the Caravelle. “We’ve got DVD players and flat screen TVs in the Signature floor rooms now, and with unlimited access to the Internet — well, we’ve further diminished the distance between where you are when you’re with us and where you need to be for business or family relations.”

As a further sweetener, the Caravelle has freshened the ‘software’ throughout the hotel. From flat LCD television screens and in-room DVD players, to new mattresses, sheets and pillows.

“Basically, anything you can pick up in one of our rooms is brand, spanking new,” Ms. Shee added.
