New GM and DOSM at Millennium Hongqiao Hotel, Shanghai

Millennium & Copthorne, a Singapore-based hospitality management company that manages more than 110 hotels, has appointed Mr Clement Teo as General Manager of the Millennium Hongqiao Hotel, Shanghai, and Ms Kelly Lee as the hotel's Director of Sales & Marketing.

A Singapore citizen, Teo joins the hotel from Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore where he had served as Hotel Manager. With over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, Teo has worked with several international deluxe hotels such as the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, The Westin Stamford and the Westin Plaza, Shangri-La's Rasa Santosa Resort and the historic Goodwood Park Hotel.

In his new appointment, Teo will report to Mr Tan Kim Seng, Senior Vice President, Operations, Asia of MCIL and will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel operations.

Ms Kelly Lee, a US national, with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, joined the hotel in December 2007. Reporting to Mr Clement Teo, the General Manager of the hotel, Kelly will oversee all marketing, sales and public relations activities of the hotel. Prior to this, she has provided her service at the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel Beijing as Director of Sales and Director of Catering & MICE at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.
