Austrian Airlines is launching a new service for passengers on its long-haul flights. The new feel-good programme offers passengers that “little bit extra” service on flights to Bangkok, Tokyo, Beijing, Toronto, Washington, New York, Chicago (until 26 October), Delhi, Mumbai and Malé (from 5 November).

From now, every passenger, no matter whether they are travelling in Economy or Business Class, will receive a personal 0.5-litre water bottle, and will be able to refresh themselves with Austrian spring water from the Vöslauer brand as soon as they board their flight.

Austrian also recently signed a special deal with traditional Austrian glass manufacturer Riedel. In future, all the drinks in Business Class on Austrian long-haul and Premium Service flights will be served in high-quality ‘O’ Series glasses from Riedel, a trendy reinterpretation of the classic wine glass. As well as this, Riedel has designed a special Champagne glass for Austrian Airlines that is unique worldwide.

In another new service, Business Class passengers’ blankets and pillows will now be turned down with white bed linen, on request. With almost 2 metres of personal space and the personal Sky Spa Comfort Kit, a truly top-class flight experience now awaits Austrian's Business Class passengers.
