Ascott to Offer Special Car Rental Rates in Thailand through New Partnership with Hertz

Ascott International and Hertz have launched a car rental privilege card for all residents staying a minimum one month and above at Ascott’s serviced residences in Thailand. Cardholders enjoy preferred rates and convenient services from Hertz, one of the world’s largest car rental companies.

Residents will be given the Ascott-Hertz Privilege Card upon check in, offering them:

• 50% discount off the regular rates for all classes of vehicles
• Complimentary drop–off charge for rentals of all vehicle types
• Complimentary delivery/collection charge within 15 km radius of Hertz locations for rentals of three days and above.

In addition, cardholders can choose from Hertz’s extensive range of vehicles, including luxury and performance cars, and quality services. Hertz offers self-driven cars and limousines with chauffeurs available for short to long term rentals in Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pattaya, Samui, Krabi and Phang Nga.

Hertz is pleased to offer the long stay residents at Ascott’s properties exclusive privileges when they use our car rental service. Cardholders enjoy huge savings and benefits such as complimentary pick-up and drop-off service.”

Business and leisure travellers to Thailand can choose from Ascott’s five serviced residences which are in prime locations in Bangkok. They are the Ascott Bangkok Sathorn, Citadines Sukhumvit 16 and three Somerset properties, namely Somerset Lake Point, Somerset Park Suanplu and Somerset Suwan Park View.

Six more properties are slated to open within this year and 2010. These include Somerset Grand Sukhumvit, Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor, Somerset Amar Garden and three Citadines properties - Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 8, Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 and Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 23.
