John Gerrard appointed General Manager of Grand Millennium Sukhumvit

Mr. John Gerrard has been appointed General Manager of the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit.

Mr. Gerrard has over 20 years experience in hotel management and has worked with several five star hotel and resort brands around the world including InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt and the Shangri-La Group. Prior to joining the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit, Mr. Gerrard was based in New Delhi as a Director of AST INVESCAP, responsible for their hotel division in South West Asia.

The Grand Millennium Sukhumvit is located in one of Bangkok’s prime central area - on Asoke Road (Sukhumvit Soi 21). It is adjacent to the Sukhumvit subway and Asoke skytrain stations, just one stop by subway to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and one stop by skytrain to the popular Emporium Department store. The hotel is around 30 minutes drive away from Bangkok’s new Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The hotel features a sail-like glass façade, with an atrium and concept floors. Its 325 rooms and suites are decorated with contemporary Thai touches and feature the very latest in-room technology.

The hotel offers banquet/convention space totaling almost 2,000 square metres. Featuring two Ballrooms and nine meeting rooms with the very best AudioVisual facilities which can accommodate from 10 to 500 guests.

The hotel has six food and beverage outlets offering international and regional cuisine. Other facilities include business centre, a full spa and fitness centre, swimming pool and a putting green.
