Hilton Kuala Lumpur appoints Vanessa Lenzlinger as Director of Business Development

The Hilton Kuala Lumpur has appointed Vanessa Lenzlinger as Director of Business Development.

Ms Lenzlinger has over 15 years of expertise in creating and capitalising on business opportunities for the hospitality industry. She will be responsible for developing the Hilton Kuala Lumpurs business plans, budgets and marketing strategies. This includes setting the overall direction in Pro-Active Sales, Events & Catering, Marketing Communications, Revenue Management and Room Reservations.

Ms Lenzlinger has had an impressive career with the Hilton Hotels Corporation in Sales, Revenue Management and Business Development, since her first position with the company as Meeting Conference Centre Coordinator at the Hilton Paris CDG Airport twelve years ago.

For the last decade she was based at the Hilton office in Europe, as a project leader for the Revenue Management Team in Africa, and was involved in the pre-opening of Hilton Mauritius Resort as the Front Office Manager.

Ms Lenzlinger has served in other Hilton properties in China, France and Malaysia. Prior to joining Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Ms Lenzlinger was in a similar capacity at Hilton Lyon, France from 2004.

In addition to her responsibilities as the hotels Director of Business Development, Ms Lenzlinger, who is of Swiss-French parentage, is married with a son.
