WORLDHOTELS Deluxe Collection member Lotte Hotel World Gangnam has launched fairytale rooms themed after characters at the neighboring Lotte World theme park.

In the newly renovated hotel, 30 new rooms incorporate designs featuring the park's most popular characters, Lotty and Lorry. The rooms occupying the seventh and eighth floors target families with children, and also include PlayStations, along with Lotte World character cups, toothbrush and toothpaste sets. Rates are KRW 420,000 for Character Twin and Family Twin rooms, and KRW 550,000 for Character Suites.

Lotte World is one of the largest indoor amusement parks in the world, linked by monorail to Lotte Hotel World Gangnam, shopping malls, sports facilities, cinemas and a Korean folk museum. The theme park is newly revitalised following a KRW 65 billion renovation introducing "Lotte World Season 2" with new family-friendly attractions and entertainment including a musical, Finding the Golden Pyramid, The Galactic Odyssey laser-multimedia show, interactive shooting game and a 3D horror theater.

Kim Seung-Hwan, Executive Director, who led the Lotte World Renewal Task Force, said, "Two years before its 20th anniversary, Lotte World has been reborn as a funnier and more pleasant theme park - a true place for family entertainment."

In the heart of the city's newest commercial precinct "Gangnam-Songpa," Lotte Hotel World Gangnam is a state-of-the-art hotel that features comprehensive business, entertainment and shopping - all under one roof. It is one block from COEX and the indoor theme park. The hotel has a total of 469 guest rooms spread over 32 floors with 2 ballrooms and 7 meeting rooms.
