Robert Jensch at Helm of Marriotts Newest Hotel in Hong Kong

Mr. Robert Jensch is at the helm of Marriotts newest five star hotel in Hong Kong - the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel. The hotel, which opened earlier this week, is Marriots fifth hotel in Hong Kong.

As General Manager, Mr Jensch, a 26-year veteran with Marriott International, is responsible for all aspects of the overall management of the 658-room hotel property which boasts Marriotts first Quan Spa in Hong Kong.

Mr Jensch joins the SkyCity Marriott Hotel from The Ritz Carlton Rose Hall in Jamaica where he was General Manager.

During his career with Marriott International, Mr Jensch has worked in and managed 11 properties across six countries, including the United States, Puerto Rico, Israel, Greece and most recently Jamaica, advancing from Director of Sales & Marketing to Director of Operations to General Manager.

Mr Jensch began his career with Marriott as Housekeeping Manager at Minneapolis Airport Marriott in Minnesota, USA, following his 1982 graduation from the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1982.

Leading the Sales and Marketing team at the new hotel is Maxine Howe who has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing.

With over 16 years experience in hospitality management, her assignments with Marriott International have included successfully leading the pre-opening team of the new Renaissance Bali Resort Villas and Spa as well as driving a number of task force marketing programs as a Marriott International Sales Trainer at some of the Groups leading hotel across Asia Pacific.
