Senior Appointments at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in Asia Pacific

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, a leading global hotel investment services firm, has promoted eight professionals across Asia Pacific to the firm’s hotel investment and corporate advisory services.

Mr. Andy Flaig has been promoted to Managing Director China, based in Beijing. Andy joined Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels from Aareal Bank in 2005 and quickly established Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels brand as a leading hotel advisor in China

Also recognised for their contributions to consultancy and market research within the China team, Mr. Bao Chen and Ms. Nadine Li have both been promoted to Associate.

Based in Sydney, Mr. Gus Moors has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO), Asia Pacific (Executive Vice President). Gus joined the team in 2003 with previous experience at Medina Serviced Apartments and Arthur Andersen. Since he joined, he has overseen the firm’s asset management services in Australasia, providing quality advice to some of the region’s premier hotels.

Mr. Ross Beardsell has also joined the Sydney office as Senior Vice President and will underpin the firm’s asset management capabilities across Australasia. Ross has an extensive hotel operations background and has proven success in managing a diverse range of hotel properties. Mr Beardsell was most recently Director of Operations and Development - Pacific with Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific.

In Tokyo, Mr. Munetaka Hiyama has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Mr Hiyama was extensively involved in last year’s ANA 13-hotel portfolio divestment which was one of Asia Pacific’s largest hotel transactions at US$2.36 billion.

The Tokyo office also welcomed the promotions of Mr Atsushi Okada to Vice President and Ms Izumi Horiki to Associate. Mr Okada joined Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels 18 months ago and has since been responsible for consulting, valuation, advisory and investment sale activities. Supported by the regional office, Ms Horiki’s primary focus will be on marketing related activities in Japan.

Based in Brisbane, Mr David Marriott has been promoted to Associate - Corporate Advisory. Since completing a Property Economics degree from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and recently becoming a registered valuer, David has been an integral member of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels' Advisory practice in Australia.
