The Hotel Carbon Index Company, the organisation behind Carepar, has appointed Rosie Allt as Account Manager.

Carepar (Carbon Emission Per Room Available) is an industry standard classification across the lodging and event sector. The classification allows business and leisure travellers to understand the emissions involved in their hotel usage, whether for accommodation, conference or event.

Prior to joining The Hotel Carbon Index Company, Rosie worked at leading events company Obis Omni, other roles include working at pre-eminent Cornish hotel operator Richardson Hotels.

As Account Manager, Rosie assumes responsibility for relationships between hotels and venues, business travel and hotel booking agencies and the corporate decision makers.

Rosie said, “I am extremely excited at the prospects ahead – without doubt this is revolutionary for the hotel sector and one that has been embraced from travel managers through to hoteliers and agents alike. I am proud to be working for an organisation which is championing better understanding of emissions in the hotel sector.”

Peter Ducker, Founder added, “We are continuing to optimise our relationships within the corporate, hotel and agency community. Rosie is integral to reinforcing our presence and helping drive Carepar across Europe and further afield.”
