Two New Vice Presidents at Langham Hotels International

Langham Hotels International has promoted two senior executives to vice president positions. Ms Sherona Shng has been promoted to Vice President – Communications and Mr Perry Lai is now Vice President – Information Technology.

Specialising in Marketing Communications in the Broadcast and Hospitality industries, Ms Sherona Shng has over 15 years of work experience covering Singapore, China and Hong Kong.

Ms Shng joined the Group in 2003 as Director of Communications of the Langham Place Hotel, Mongkok, Hong Kong and Eaton Hotel Hong Kong.

She became the Group’s Director of Public Relations in 2005 and has been responsible for developing strategic publicity campaign and media relations for the group.

In her role as VP – Communications, Ms Shng oversees advertising, media and publicity campaigns while managing the group’s global communications strategies.

Previously Group Director of Information Technology, Mr Perry Lai will continue to manage the information technology services and lead the integration of new hotels into the Langham Hotels systems.

As the group expands on a global scale, he will not only ensure the information technology is unified for cutting edge reporting tools and optimal IT effectiveness, but also introduce technology transparently to benefit guests.
