The designer boutique residence, JIA Shanghai, has launched a Beat the Heat promotion.

Running from July 1 – August 31, 2008, the package is priced at RMB 1595 + tax/service charge per night and includes: accommodation in a designer Studio Plus room, a chilled welcone signature cocktail on arrival as well as a complimentary Italian DOC pizza at JIA’s popular new restaurant Issimo. Issimo is known for its authentic Italian cuisine particularly its Neapolitan pizzas, baked in a copper-clad, wood-fired oven and topped with imported buffalo mozzarella cheese from Italy.

In addition, guests will be entitled to JIA’s normal “home away from home” perks which include complimentary continental breakfast at Issimo, all day soft beverages, afternoon cakes and evening wine in the lobby, free local calls, free broadband/wifi connectivity throughout the hotel, and more.

With its prime, central location in a stunning 1920’s building on the corner of Nanjing Road and Tai Xing Road, JIA Shanghai features a host of state-of-the-art facilities and amenities for travellers.

Fifty five chic guestrooms and suites are timber-walled and floored, giving an immediate sense of modern unhurried luxury. Over-scaled custom-designed floor rugs add a stunning accent to the dark timber floors and signature furniture pieces from Knoll, Minotti, Moroso and Hans Wegner add elegance. Layered over this are exquisite pieces of Chinese objects and furniture, finished with a unique colour treatment to give an element of surprise.
