Following the heartwarming success of the
"938LIVE I Love Mum We Love Sydney" campaign in 2006, Tourism New South Wales is once
again partnering MediaCorp’s 938LIVE radio station to encourage listeners to nominate a special mother and say why she deserves
a very special treat.
The winning mother, together with the nominator, will spend Mothers’ Day in Sydney together with 938LIVE’s Producer-Presenter, Stanley
Leong and his mother Mary. The trip will begin on Thursday 8 May and end on Friday 16 May. They will indulge in a whole host of exciting
activities including a sensational sailing experience along the world-famous Sydney Harbour, an exciting city tour on Harley
Davidsons, visiting the Jenolan Caves at the Blue Mountains- recently named the world’s oldest open discovered cave, floating across the Jurassic
rainforest in the Blue Mountains on the Scenic Skyway, with its world first Electro-Sceni Glass Floor and
staying overnight at the Old Leura Dairy, a charming bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
The trip will be extra special for radio presenter Stanley Leong as his mother will be travelling with him during this trip. “I thought it’d be an
excellent break from her work, plus the fact that I really missed having my own mom around for the Mother’s Day promo two years ago” said
Stanley.
Dynasty Travel will also launch a Sydney Mothers’ Day Special package with departure from Singapore on May 9. Dynasty Travel customers
will get to meet and interact with the Winners, Stanley and his mother in Sydney. Together, they will be enjoying hands-on animal interaction
at the Australian Reptile Park, tucking in to home-made macadamia delights at the macadamia farm, and watch the fascinating pelican
feeding at the Central Coast.
The group will also go on an exciting dolphin watch cruise at Port Stephens, famed as the Dolphin Capital of Australia and explore the
largest moving coastal sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere on a 4WD vehicle.
This special “938LIVE I Love Mum, We Love Sydney” radio promotion,
all-expense paid 9-day holiday (worth
Sin$8,000) to Sydney, is initiated by Dynasty Travel, Tourism New South Wales and 938LIVE
with Qantas and British Airways as the official airline.
