Quantum Hotels and Resorts, one of the leading condominium hotel and resort property management companies in Asia, is expanding its portfolio of hotel and resort properties across the Philippines.

The company recently opened two new properties: the Torre Venezia in Quezon City and The Residences at Fairways and Bluewater in Boracay Island, both in the Philippines. It is also expected to open two more properties in Boracay Island, the Asiana Condotel and the Agrias Suites by mid 2009 adding more than 190 hotel rooms to the companies existing portfolio on the resort island of Boracay. The group currently manages four other hotel condominium properties in Metro Manila.

"The resort market in the Philippines continues to grow from domestic tourists as well as new travelers from Korea, Japan and Russia. It is one of our major focus markets and will represent about 40% of the number of properties we are developing in our regional portfolio by 2010," said John H. Cole, President and CEO, Quantum Hotels and Resorts.

The company has two new hotels and resort condos already opened and two others scheduled to open throughout the Philippines under the Quantum Hotels & Resorts portfolio by the end of 2010. This includes the Torre Venezia, a 75 room boutique property located in the business and entertainment district of Quezon City and adjacent to the major television broadcast studios in the city, and the Residences at Fairways and Bluewater Newcoast, a 308 room property in Boracay Island, one of the Philippines' most popular resort destinations. Additional openings in 2009 include the 130 room Asiana Condotel and the 60 room Agrias Suites, conveniently located within the central beach stretch of Boracay Island.

"Quite unique in the industry, Quantum Hotels and Resorts operates multiple owner (strata titled) properties where individual apartment owners become shareholders in serviced apartment, condominium hotel and hotel operations. Each owner holds title to one room or apartment that is part of a profitable commercial hotel enterprise. We have developed homeowner services department to properly service this specialized owner requirement. In addition, Quantum has a strong track record in assisting major developers with real estate sales by offering our professional after sales services to real estate investors," added Mr. Cole.

Established in 2000, Quantum Hotels and Resorts management services were specifically developed to meet the requirements and standards of  high to mid-level serviced apartments, residences, resorts and hotels. Each property managed by Quantum is unique, catering to the needs of its investors and partners while assuring  its guests an high level of accommodation and service standards. Quantum's extensive experience in all levels of property management, sales & marketing, guest and owner services brings the same depth and breadth of experience to every property under its management.

"Quantum now has four city centered serviced apartment properties under management in the Philippines and has a development plan for regional expansion from its Hong Kong base," Mr. Cole concluded.

Quantum Hotels and Resorts is participating in the real estate show MIPIM Asia from November 19-21, 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
