Layia Oak Hotel & Suites in Dubai to open November

The Layia Oak Hotel & Suites is to open this November in the Al Barsha district of Dubai, heralding the arrival of a new brand to Dubai. The four-star property will be the first hotel venture of Layia Hospitality.

The 14-storey iconic glass and steel structure located in Al Barsha area facing The Greens, off Sheikh Zayed Road, is 5 minutes away from The Mall of the Emirates and the Battuta Mall. Layia Oak Hotel & Suites is also just 25 minutes away from the Dubai International Airport, 10 minutes away from the DIFC, the Exhibition and Convention Centre, the Jebel Ali Free Zone, World Central and Emirates Golf Course. The Media City, Internet City, Knowledge Village & Emmar Business Park are all adjacent to the property.

Layia Oak Hotel & Suites will offer a total of 161 rooms of 75 and 160 sqm. Each unit is designed as a self-contained unit, with LCD TV, high speed internet, cooker, microwave, washing/drying machine, fridge, and safe in each type of accommodation.

With a fully fitted kitchen in all units, guests can cater for themselves, or choose from one of three stylish dining outlets offering mouth watering dishes.

Petals all day dining restaurant, located on the ground level, is the main dining venue of the hotel. It showcases an extensive range of buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as offering an a la carte option. The cuisine is contemporary Middle Eastern with an international touch.

Vanilla café & lounge offers a comfortable lounge in the hotel’s lobby offering coffee, tea, desserts and beverages. Vanilla the place to spend an afternoon with friends or to relax after dinner and enjoy chill out music.

For those preferring al fresco dining, the Waves Pool Lounge offers snacks and chilled drinks around the swimming pool.

Guests will be able to relax by the pool, enjoy a Jacuzzi or work up a sweat in the 24-hour Powerzone Fitness Centre.

Three distinct brands will make up the Layia Hospitality portfolio: Layia Hotels, Living Courts and a three-star hotel brand. Layia Hotels contains three elements: Layia Hotels, Layia Hotel & Suites and Layia Serviced Villas.

Layia Hospitality currently has nine properties signed and these will be open in the next 18 months. The company is also in advanced negotiations for six more properties.
