Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Tuesday, 16 September 2008

Best Western International has signed two all-new Best Western hotels in the heart of Bangkok; Best Western Premier Sukhumvit, opening first quarter of 2011, and the Best Western @ 20, opening in 2010.

Located at the heart of the Bangkok, on Sukhumvit Soi 1, Best Western Premier Sukhumvit is ideally poised for access to the BTS skytrain at Pleonchit and Nana Stations, giving guests the freedom of the city. Expressway access is equally convenient. At proximity is the internationally-renowned Bamrungrad Hospital along with major embassies, excellent shopping and non-stop entertainment.

With 145 international-standard guest rooms, the hotel will offer full amenities for both business and leisure travellers. A restaurant, swimming pool, fitness centre and spa, present a comprehensive leisure menu while a fully-equipped business centre, and “boutique” banqueting and meeting facilities cover business needs.

As its name suggests, Best Western @ 20 is located towards the middle of the uptown stretch of Sukhumvit Road on Soi 20. This puts it in close proximity to the Asoke/Sukhumvit skytrain underground train intersection, so offering multi-directional mass transit services to take guests around the city. The location also benefits from a nearby park, the upscale Emporium shopping mall and a lively leisure and entertainment scene. The hotel itself comprises 75 stylish and fully-appointed rooms along with a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness centre and business centre.

The two new hotels are owned by a Bangkok-based consortium with Best Western providing the management and marketing.
