Sukhothai Heritage Resort Light and Sound Promotion

The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Sukhothai Tourism Association are conducting a Mini Light & Sound story of the first splendid kingdom of Thailand, at Wat Srasri, Sukhothai Historical Park on Saturday of 2 August and 6 September 2008.

In addition, Sukhothai will be celebrating the annual Loy Krathong Festival with a special Light and Sound Show at Wat Mahatat in November 2008.

To celebrate these events, the Sukhothai Heritage Resort, one of the newest and most luxurious resorts in Sukhothai, is offering a special package for guests who wish to experience the Mini Light & Sound story in August or September and also the Loy Krathong Festival in November this year.

Rates for the Mini Light & Sound story in August and September start from THB 7,500 nett, and THB 9,100 nett for stays during Loy Krathong. These rates include:

- 3 days 2 nights in Superior Room
- Daily American Breakfast
- 1 Buffet Dinner or 1 dinner (Set Menu)
- Welcome Drink + Towel
- Fruit basket and Flowers.
- Late check out until 14.00 hrs.
- Daily Newspaper
- Mini Light & Sound
- Transfer to Sukhothai Historical Park
- Krathong Flower on 12/11/08.

Sukhothai is located on the lower edge of the northern region of Thailand. The province covers some 6,596 square kilometres and is divided into 9 Amphoes: Muang Sukhothai, Ban Dan Lan Hoi, Khiri Mat, Kong Krailat, Sawankhalok, Si Nakhon, Si Samrong, Si Satchanalai and Thung Saliam.

The Sukhothai Heritage Resort, which opened in October 2007, is set in an idyllic rural setting amidst tranquil rice fields adjacent to Sukhothai Airport approximately 20 KM from the city of Sukhothai.
